The company is managed by me, Ms. Maria Lúcia Tribuna, a language specialist with sixteen years of translation experience in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish and thirty years of experience in linguistic services offered in Portuguese.
I am a certified translator, member of the OTTIAQ (Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec). A native of São Paulo, Brazil, and holding also Canadian and Portuguese citizenship, I did
my undergraduate and graduate studies in Portuguese and Brazilian Language and Literature at the “Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo”(PUC-SP),
considered the best private University in the State of São Paulo and second best in all of Brazil, according to the Ministry of Education of Brazil. My long experience as a teacher, matched with an
already long and successful career as a translator in Montreal, my good relationship with clients, a deep understanding of their needs,
a respect for deadlines and for the purposes of the work being done, as well as diversified cultural and multicultural interests and background,
all make for a smooth and professional service experience.
I specialize in translations for the Portuguese speaking markets, mainly Brazil, Portugal and Angola, as well as in
translations of official documents for the Portuguese and Spanish speaking communities present in Canada. My clients are medium and large corporations,
as well as individuals who normally develop a long term relationship with me.
